Andie Powers graduated with a Bachelor of Art’s degree in writing, literature and publishing with a concentration in children’s lit from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. An Air Force brat, she picked Seattle on a map and it has been her hometown in 2006.

Her previous published work includes contributions to Root & Star, Bright Lite, The Horn Book Guide, Uppercase Magazine, Seattle’s Child, Apartment Therapy, and The Bedford Reader.

She is also the author of Print, Paint & Ink, co-written with Emily Grosse (2016, Taunton Press).

Currently, Andie works as a freelance writer and the social media director for illustrated greeting card company, Red Cap Cards.

She lives in Seattle with her husband and daughter.
